Noor ul Islam Mosque was founded in 1978 by the Muslim community of Bury. The Mosque initially occupied just one floor on Yarwood Street. Today the Mosque consists of the entire building aswell as a sister centre, Maqam al Arba’in(Women’s Centre) and a community centre, Dar us Salam.

As we bid farewell to the blessed month of Rabiʿ al-Awwal, we reflect with gratitude upon some of the moments from the Annual Mawlid un-Nabi ﷺ event held at Noor ul Islam Mosque, Bury.
May Allah Almighty grant us the opportunity to attend and benefit from such gatherings in the future, and may He increase us in our love, devotion and adherence to the noble example of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
